Prophetic Protection for the Queer Christian

What is one gay couple in the grand scheme of God’s design? What is Jacob and his boyfriend/husband’s relationship doing to thwart the mighty hand of God?

God showed favor in letting Deborah lead his people. He showed favor to the last born child of Jacob when he was thrown into slavery.

I am becoming more and more convinced that God’s (my mighty king’s) concerns are not what the Christians are concerned about. I believe my mighty God can not only give me a life that aligns with who I am, but still work wonders of blessing and transformation through me and my partner in the lives of others. God’s power is unstoppable. His hand unmovable.

I am His beloved Son. He has heard my heart and He will stand as a lion on my behalf because I am His. If therefore God is for us, who could stand against us? If God is who he is, then He will be able to give his son Jacob a life of abundance that lines up with his passions, while also not losing any ground in the work He’s completing through him.

No finger of love and blessing will be lifted or removed. No hand of favor and power will be taken. I see God leading me into a brave heart and a soldier’s stance. “Let them quote me,” I hear God say with power. “Let them repeat my words back to me. For if they truly hear my heart and understand my nature, then they’d find no need to try to use my words against me”.

I hear my God telling me to be brave and let the opponents come because they will be accountable to Him. If they have a problem with His son, they will have to meet Him with the issue. I feel God’s protective hand heavy upon my chest as he works all things for my good. I feel Him say with all power “I have you. Go and be free.”
